I would like to bring to your attention an event we are hosting on March 3rd in Manchester, which we invite you to share with your supplier and business networks.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and the Greater Manchester Police & Crime Commissioners (GMPCC) are hosting a “Delivering Social Value through the Supply Chain” event to help raise awareness amongst suppliers to how our Social Value agenda can benefit the Greater Manchester region. The event is aimed at local businesses, small or medium-sized (SME), social enterprise, voluntary or community organisation with new and innovative solutions and a passion for delivering added social value to Greater Manchester and would like to do business with GMP and GMPCC.
The event is designed to:
- Raise awareness to Social Value in Greater Manchester
- Make the opportunities that the Social Value Act presents a reality by guiding suppliers to the new opportunities open in the region
- Help suppliers respond to tenders in general but specifically the social value element to help unlock social value for our communities.
Case studies from incumbent suppliers will also be presented to further demonstrate how social value can be achieved through a contract.
Please feel free to share the invitation with your supply chain networks, however please be aware that numbers are limited so it will be a first come first served basis. Should the event over subscribe we will consider hosting a second event later in the year.
Details of how to register along with times and venue can be found in the attached invitation and the link to registration is also below
